About
I am a freelance translator and author with a decade of in-house editing experience. My areas of interest include TEFL, medicine, psychology and subtitling.
I started my professional development working as EFL editor for Express Publishing Poland but never stopped pursuing my interest in translation – the subject I specialized in at university. For over 10 years I have been building my skills in both fields, and finding more and more enthusiasm for the challenges they present. Never tired of learning, I have complemented my hands-on experience with editing and translation courses, adding Spanish to the languages I use professionally – Polish and English.
Having done some teaching, I decided to explore this area and take the Cambridge CELTA course, which sparked my interest in teaching and marked the beginning of my activity as EFL author. This has given me another peek into the publishing world, which I now know from the perspectives of editor, translator and author.
